Matthew Black
Director | SABL Sport
Matthew graduated Loughborough University in 2021, where he spent three years playing BUCS football, progressing from the 3rd XI to the 1st XI. After completing his undergraduate studies, Matt took the leap to pursue his passion for football and education in the United States, joining the University of Vermont’s NCAA Division I team. In Matt’s first season with Vermont, his team won the America East Championship title for the first time in eight years. Their success continued as they advanced to the quarter-finals of the National Championships in 2022. In 2024, Matt founded SABL Sport to help athletes in the UK access the same life-changing opportunities. With first-hand experience and a deep understanding of the college soccer system, SABL Sport is dedicated to guiding those who are ready to take the next step and make the move to the USA.

Thomas graduated from Falmouth University with a First-Class degree in Music Technology, where he honed his skills in digital media, marketing, and design. With a passion for creative storytelling and visual communication, Thomas has spent years working in marketing and digital design for live music events, developing expertise in web design, Photoshop, graphic design, and social media marketing.
Bringing his experience into the world of sport, Thomas co-founded SABL Sport to build a strong digital presence and connect talented UK athletes with life-changing opportunities in the U.S. His expertise ensures that SABL Sport’s brand, marketing, and online platforms effectively showcase the pathway to NCAA success.
